Analysis of the causes of white smoke and black spots in injection molded products
On the PS transparent parts, when the light is transmitted, a white smoke appears, and the position and size are erratic. This is mainly due to the local decomposition of plastic in the barrel, and sometimes the white smoke will zoom yellow and even become dark spots.
Solution:
(1) Reduce the material temperature, shorten the time the material stays in the barrel, and reduce the rotation speed and back pressure.
(2) Pay attention to check the matching precision between the screw and the barrel, and check whether the rubber head is worn or not.
(3) Use less recycled materials and screen out harmful scraps. Eliminate contamination of the plastics in the barrel and the raw materials.
