China's top ten car manufacturers have significantly reduced market share


According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in the first quarter of this year, compared with last year, China’s top ten car manufacturers had one outlet and one new entry. The order of rankings has changed. As more and more car manufacturers enter the market competition, the proportion of the top ten sedan manufacturers in the national production and sales of cars has decreased significantly, and the market share has decreased. Last year, Fengshen Automobile Co., Ltd., which ranked ninth among the top ten sedan manufacturers, failed to enter the top ten in the first quarter of this year. FAW Car Co., Ltd. entered the top ten for the first time this year. The first three months of production and sales of cars were 19,546 vehicles and 16,533 vehicles, respectively, an increase of 137.58% and 114.07% over the same period of the previous year. The top four of the top ten sedan manufacturers in the first quarter of this year are still Shanghai Volkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen, Shanghai GM and Tianjin FAW Xiali. Changan Automobile rose from seventh place last year to fifth place. Guangzhou Honda temporarily came sixth from last year's fifth place, SAIC Chery was from Bajin Seven, and Shenlong Automobile was temporarily eighth from last year's sixth place, Beijing. Hyundai is ranked tenth by Ten Jinjin and FAW Car. In the first quarter of this year, the production and sales volume of the ten leading car manufacturers in the country, Tianjin FAW Xiali and Shenlong auto production and sales decreased compared to the same period last year. The other eight have different degrees of growth. As of the end of last year, there were 32 car manufacturers in China, 12 more than in 2002. As more and more car companies enter the market competition, the proportion of production and sales of the top ten car manufacturers in the first quarter of this year has decreased significantly, from the 78.8% of domestic car production in the previous year to 72%, and sales accounted for domestic cars. Sales of 80.5% dropped to 74%. In the first quarter of this year, the production and sales of cars in China continued the rapid growth of last year. The output reached 579,900 units, and the sales volume reached 567,000 units, an increase of 41.86% and 44.47%, respectively.
