Mitsubishi will reorganize China sales office to be located in Beijing


According to the "Wall Street Journal" report, Mitsubishi Motors recently stated that it will reorganize its sales office in China to improve China's sales business. Before the end of March 2005, Mitsubishi Motors will merge China's seven sales offices into one, located in Beijing. After the merger is completed, the company will promote imported cars in China. According to the report, China is the strategic market where Mitsubishi Corporation will survive. It is reported that Mitsubishi of Japan announced the reorganization plan in May. The content includes closing one of the three domestic factories; cutting 10,000 jobs; and obtaining financial assistance from Mitsubishi Group and outside investors. At the same time, Mitsubishi is investigating the possibility of exporting cars from Australian factories due to the low production efficiency of Mitsubishi Motors' plants in Australia.
