Traceability Requirements for Measurement Results Published

Recently, the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment issued "CNAS-CL06:2014 Traceability Requirements for Measurement Results." It is stipulated that the document will be used from the date of publication until October 31, 2014. Old and new documents can be used concurrently. As of November 1, 2014, the original CNAS-CL06:2011 Traceability Requirements was abolished. All applicant organizations and accredited institutions should meet CNAS-CL06:2014 Traceability Requirements for Measurement Results. All accreditation assessments should be based on the new version of the document.

The China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) revised the CNAS-CL06:2011 Traceability Requirements in accordance with ILACP10:2013 “Tracking Policy for Measurement Results by ILAC” and now publishes CNAS-CL06:2014 Traceability Requirements for Measurement Results. 》, and implemented on November 1, 2014. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of this document, and the accredited laboratories to adjust the relevant work in a timely manner to ensure that the requirements of the document are met, the implementation of the new version of the document is as follows:

1. From the date of publication until October 31, 2014, the new and old documents can be used concurrently.

2. From November 1st, 2014, the original CNAS-CL06:2011 Traceability Requirements was abolished. All applicant organizations and accredited institutions should meet CNAS-CL06:2014 Traceability Requirements for Measurement Results. All accreditation assessments should be based on the new version of the document.

III. Measurement equipment of the relevant organization After the expiration date of the current calibration is valid after November 1, 2014, if the contents of the traceability organization and certificate do not meet the requirements of the document, the institutions do not need to re-calibrate the new document in advance and may expire at the expiration date. At the same time, CNAS-CL06:2014 “Tracing of Measurement Results” was used for calibration. Measurement equipment of relevant agencies calibrated after November 1, 2014 shall comply with CNAS-CL06:2014 Traceability Requirements for Measurement Results.

4. Each agency shall, before November 1, 2014, complete the evaluation of qualified calibration service providers according to the requirements of CNAS-CL06:2014, and measure the traceability certificates (such as certification certificates) that do not report the measurement uncertainty. The results were evaluated for uncertainty.
