Wireless charging of electric vehicles is expected to become a reality

A few days ago, researchers from North Carolina State University stated that they have developed new processes and technologies to upgrade wireless power transmission power from stationary to mobile reception. The researchers said that their goal is to set up a freeway mobile charging station to charge electric vehicles through wireless power transmission. "We have made changes to the receivers and transmitters to make wireless energy transmissions safer and more efficient." Seljan, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, North Carolina State University. Dr. Lukic said. Wireless power transmission is based on magnetic coupling and is now more and more widely accepted. This method can transmit power over small and medium distances. According to North Carolina State University, the wireless power transmission system is expected to charge electric vehicles and also to charge electronic equipment and other technical equipment. When the wireless power transmission system is operating, electromagnetic waves of a specific frequency are to be transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver. These electromagnetic waves interact with the receiving coils to generate current. Adjust the coil so that its resonant frequency matches the frequency of the electromagnetic wave, then the current it produces will be amplified.

Currently, North Carolina State University researchers have developed a series of segmented transmit coils, where each series corresponds to an electromagnetic field. The researchers also created a receiver coil and modified the receiver, the size of each transmitter coil is the same, and can be placed in a car or other mobile platform. The researchers pointed out that the coil size is very important, because the same size of the coil energy transfer is more effective. Lukic and his team have developed a small but powerful system that is currently improving the transmission efficiency of the system. Currently at the highest efficiency, the new system can transmit energy at a rate of 0.5 kilowatts. "Our goal is to move from 0.5 kW to 50 kW, which will make it more practical," Lukic said.

Komaes inverter is the heart of all but the smallest power systems. It is an electronic device that converts direct current DC power from batteries or Solar Modules into alternating current AC power to operate lights, appliances or anything that normally operates on power supplied by the utility grid. Inverters come in many varieties, sizes and qualities and offer various features that specialize them for particular applications.

Komaes Solar is a specialized manufacturer of Solar Panels since 2004, our solar modules are certified by TUV IEC (Germany), MCS (UK), CEC (Australia), CE (SGS), SCONAP (Nigeria), INMETRO (Brazil), etc.  The range is from 5W to 350W, both Polycrystalline and Monocrystalline Solar Panels, include build-in junction boxes, tempered glass, and solid aluminum frames. At present, we are exporting solar modules to Europe, Australia, USA, and some other districts.

KOMAES solar panels are durable, high-efficiency. The solar panels are available for RVs, boats, Camping, and Remote off-grid power systems, our customers often use for remote transmitters, battery charging, electric gate openers, RVs, marine, etc.
