At that time, the industrial application of this technology was the first in the world and was rated as internationally advanced by the China Gold Association.

With the continuous improvement of low-grade refractory gold mining technology, Zijin Mining believes that the low-grade ore of Shuiyindong Gold Mine contains arsenic and carbon, and the ore is complex in nature. It is extremely difficult to process gold ore, and the gold produced by flotation process The average price of concentrates for sale is only 62% of the gold price coefficient, and the economic benefits are seriously lost. The economic value should be improved through technological innovation. To this end, Zijin Mining has invested 420 million yuan since 2014, and should start the Shuiyindong Gold Mine pressurized pre-oxidation technical transformation project. After two years of trial, construction, commissioning and trial production, it was officially put into operation on January 11 this year.

According to reports, the project successfully developed a carbon-containing arsenic refractory gold ores pressurized pre-oxidation technology and complete sets of equipment, including organic carbon "robbing gold" shield technology innovations, iron arsenate arsenic sound disposal technologies. After the project is officially put into production, it is estimated that the annual output of gold will be 2.5 tons and the industrial output value will be 670 million yuan. Compared with the original “normal pressure chemical catalytic pre-oxidation” process, this technology can at least increase the comprehensive recovery rate of mercury metal mine gold minerals by 30%, and at the same time develop and utilize about 50 tons of gold resources that could not be utilized in the Shuiyindong gold mining area. The economic value of the increase of about 10 billion yuan has opened up a new way to deal with the extraction of gold mines.

In fact, the more important significance of the project is industrial application. As its process is green and environmentally friendly, it will effectively avoid harmful gas emissions, achieve zero discharge of production wastewater, and stable storage of waste slag. It is a breakthrough in the transformation of traditional mining development into a new type of mining green development, which will promote China's mining ecological environment protection and drive gold.
