National Ocean Forecasting Station Releases Storm Surge Blue Alert

According to the website of the State Oceanic Administration, the National Oceanic Forecasting Station released the storm surge level IV warning (blue) at 16:00 today. Affected by the combination of cold air and low pressure, it is expected that between the afternoon of July 31 and the morning of August 1, 30 to 100 centimeters of storm surge will occur along the coast of Bohai Bay.

The Tanggu in Tianjin and the Huangqi Tidal Station in Hebei Province will appear near the climax of local alert tides on the evening of the 31st. The storm surge warning level is blue. Please prepare the moisture-proof preparations for the relevant coastal authorities.
