What are the factors affecting the measurement accuracy of the vortex flowmeter?

Problem Analysis and Solution:

1, steam is dry humidity

Analysis: In the article "Is there any influence of the moisture in the steam on the accuracy of the vortex flowmeter" , we have introduced that the steam can not contain too much moisture, and the steam has a dryness of less than 85%.

Solution: When the steam humidity is higher than 85%, install the humidity transmitter at the 7D-8D of the flowmeter outlet.

2. The pressure of saturated steam changes too much.

Analysis: The pressure change in the industrial site is relatively normal, and the change of pressure directly leads to the density of saturated steam. When the value of pressure fluctuation is higher than the calibration value, it will directly affect the level of the flow value;

Solution: Because the density of saturated steam is in one-to-one correspondence with pressure and temperature, we can correct the density according to the change of pressure, which can be corrected by the table segmentation compensation method.

3, the instrument installation pipeline vibration is relatively large

Analysis: The pipeline is not reinforced during installation. When the vibration is large, the flow value will be high.

Solution: Triangle reinforcement of the pipeline

4, steam vortex flowmeter outlet to the atmosphere

Analysis: When the flow meter outlet is open to the atmosphere, the pressure difference between the front and the back will be too large, and it is easy to reach the upper limit of the flow rate of the flow meter;

Solution: Strictly control the flow rate of saturated steam below the upper flow rate limit, or install a rectifier on the side

5. The front and rear straight pipe sections of the steam vortex flowmeter are installed incorrectly.

Analysis: When the straight pipe section of the flowmeter does not meet the requirements, it can be concluded from the working principle of the vortex flowmeter that the necessary conditions for the formation of the vortex are not met when the distance does not meet the requirements.

Solution: The distance between the front and the rear of the steam vortex flowmeter must be installed in strict accordance with the requirements.
