It was found that the soil respiration and the soil temperature were highly significantly positively correlated. In addition, the soil moisture had a relatively complex influence on the soil respiration. Within the range of soil moisture, the soil respiration rate is positively correlated with soil moisture, and when the soil moisture exceeds a certain range, the soil respiration rate decreases with the increase of soil moisture. In sum, soil respiration and soil moisture are highly significant.
The relationship between soil respiration and soil moisture can be verified through the soil moisture monitoring system to accurately understand the relationship between the two. By accurately understanding the soil respiration, we can help us analyze and understand the carbon dioxide content of soil respiration. This is the top priority of soil respiration research.
