The Tsinghua University Green Campus Micro-Circulation Electric Vehicle Demonstration System was officially launched at Tsinghua University on the 21st. Zhang Jihong, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Committee, said that as the first research and demonstration project in China to apply electric vehicles to university campuses and eventually build a microcirculation transportation system, I hope to study other campuses in Beijing by studying the demonstration application on the Tsinghua campus. The construction of the same type of micro-circulation electric vehicle system in the park has formed a number of leading and leading results and models, laying a foundation for the large-scale promotion and application of the project.
Wu Zhongze, chairman of the China Intelligent Transportation Association, pointed out that the first national 863 program theme project “Study on key technologies of smart car road coordination”, which was completed by Tsinghua University, is applied in smart vehicle equipment, intelligent roadside equipment and vehicle road coordination technology. Significant breakthroughs have been made in the demonstration and promotion. The integrated application will be launched at Tsinghua University for the first time and will play a vital role in improving the safety of micro-circulation electric buses. ”
According to the project leader and Professor Zhang Yi of the Department of Automation of Tsinghua University, as an effective supplement to the main public transportation, the park microcirculation system will greatly improve the accessibility of the end of public transportation; especially the electric vehicle as the operational carrier of the microcirculation system. It can fully demonstrate its characteristics of no noise, low energy consumption and zero emissions, and provide a safe, convenient, green and reliable “last mile” transportation solution, which plays an important role in reducing energy consumption, reducing pollution and improving the environment.
In 2015, with the strong support of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Tsinghua University took the lead, through the strategic cooperation with Yutong Bus Company, and cooperated with Beijing Tsinghua Industrial Development Research Institute and Beijing Yihuatong Technology Co., Ltd. After a year of research, testing and construction, we have completed the technical upgrade of all Yutong electric vehicles in the system and the basic construction of 8 security early warning systems on campus and passed relevant tests, becoming the first domestic scale on the university campus. It is reported that the Tsinghua University Green Campus Micro-Circulation Electric Vehicle Demonstration System consists of Yutong electric vehicles, supporting charging facilities, operation dispatching platform, safety early warning platform and information service platform, which can support the operation and dispatch of green park micro-circulation electric vehicle system and real-time adjustment of lines. Security early warning, personalized customized travel and intelligent information services in a multi-mode communication environment. The demonstration system has three major characteristics: first, facing large-scale parks; second, using pure electric vehicles as carriers; third, the key technologies for smart vehicle roads used are 863 scientific and technological innovations, all of which have China's independent intellectual property rights.
Zhang Yi introduced that in addition to the demonstration system research and construction, the project team is also based on the Tsinghua University Green Campus Micro-Circulation Electric Vehicle Demonstration System, which is applicable to the sustainable development of the park's electric micro-transit system evaluation and analysis, policy management and development model. In-depth research has been carried out. At present, staged important achievements have been made in the evaluation system design, operation management mode and policy recommendations of the electric micro-transit system in the park.
