Zhejiang Province Metrology Institute launches two electromagnetic measurement technical specifications

[China Instrument Network Instrumentation Standard] Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued a notice on the formulation and revision of national metrological technical specifications, and announced that the Zhejiang Metrology Institute will develop two national measurement technical specifications for electromagnetic measurement.

The “Standard for Calibration of AC/DC Analog Standard Resistors” is mainly drafted by the Provincial Metrology Institute and jointly developed with the China Metrology Institute and the Liaoning Metrology Institute. The AC/DC analog standard resistor is a measuring standard device that transmits the resistance value under the condition of high current. It is mainly used to test resistance measuring instruments such as grounding resistance tester and DC low resistance tester. The formulation of the national metrological technical specifications will effectively solve the traceability problem of analog standard resistors and ensure accurate and uniform values.

"The calibration specifications for permanent magnetic material magnetic performance measuring instrument" was jointly drafted by China Measurement Institute and Provincial Metrology Institute. Zhejiang Province is a major province of producing magnetic materials, and there are nearly 200 permanent magnetic material manufacturers. Permanent magnetic material magnetic performance measuring instrument is the main measuring instrument for magnetic properties of magnetic materials. The formulation of the national metrological technical specifications will provide technical and regulatory evidence for the metrology and calibration of permanent magnetic material magnetic performance measuring instruments, and better serve Zhejiang permanent magnetic material production enterprises.
