After more than 30 years of hard work, China has achieved nuclear power autonomy, serialization, and scale development. The capacity building and production of all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle can not only meet the needs of China's nuclear energy development, but also have gone to the world. Plans are underway to build a new base for the integration of uranium purification and conversion, uranium enrichment, and fuel assembly production. In the past 60 years, the nuclear industry has persisted in innovation and development, established a complete nuclear-industrial technology innovation system that integrates the military and the people, realized the support of science and technology platforms for each important production link, and established a number of national basic research and experimental bases and key national defense science and technology laboratories. The National Engineering Technology Center has built a series of major scientific projects and R&D projects represented by China Experimental Fast Reactor, China Advanced Research Reactor, Post-processing Pilot Plant, Tandem Accelerator Upgrade Project, and nuclear fusion re-circulator No. 2A upgrade. The platform provides strong support for nuclear technology innovation.
