The development direction of natural gas and new energy heavy trucks gradually becomes clear

Whether it is the China Datong International Automobile Culture Festival in August 2012 or the Guangzhou International Commercial Vehicle Show at the end of 2012, natural gas heavy trucks are one of its biggest highlights. This type of vehicle not only has the advantages of energy saving and emission reduction, environmental protection, and cost saving, but also its power performance is not inferior to that of diesel vehicles.

At present, petroleum, natural gas and coal are also called the world's three major energy sources. With the depletion of global oil resources, it is imperative to develop new energy industries. Of the three major energy sources, natural gas energy is the most realistic alternative to petroleum. Relevant data show that in 2011, the recoverable reserves of natural gas for coal in the world were 191 trillion cubic meters, and the total amount of natural gas was 232,364 trillion cubic meters. In China, conventional natural gas reserves are approximately 56 trillion cubic meters, of which land reserves are approximately 38 trillion cubic meters, and unconventional natural gas reserves are approximately 200-380 trillion cubic meters. In addition, coal gasification and methanation can also be used to substitute natural gas, and natural gas can also be synthesized from hydrocarbons from industrial gas. Therefore, the overall natural gas reserves in China are abundant, and the development of natural gas vehicles is fully guaranteed in respect of gas sources. It is the development direction of heavy-duty new energy.

Natural gas heavy trucks have obvious advantages over diesel vehicles. First of all, natural gas heavy trucks are generally 400,000 yuan, which is 80,000 yuan more than an ordinary heavy truck. However, natural gas vehicles have a low driving cost, saving 1 yuan per kilometer over ordinary models, so that overpaid 80,000 yuan can be recovered in one year. Secondly, natural gas is fully burned and does not produce carbon deposits, which can effectively prolong the life of the engine. Moreover, the environmental performance of natural gas trucks is even better, and the pollutant emissions are more than 90% lower than those of diesel vehicles. It is easy to meet the countries that will be officially implemented. Four emission standards.

Yao Mingde, president of the China Road Transport Association, revealed to the media a few days ago: “At present, relevant departments in China are continuously promoting the use of clean energy for commercial vehicles.”

According to sources, the Natural Gas "12th Five-Year Plan" compiled by the National Energy Administration has passed the review and submitted to the State Council for approval. It is expected that it will be announced soon. This message may open the way for LNG heavy trucks.

China National Heavy Duty Truck Co., Ltd. established corresponding promotion demonstration points according to different operating conditions of gas vehicles: a coal transport tractor demonstration site was established in Shanxi; a dangerous goods transport tractor demonstration site was established in Jiangsu; a road transport dump truck was established in Henan (8 ×4) Demonstration point. Following the use and availability of vehicles, demonstration sites for mixing trucks will be established in Beijing and Jiangsu, and demonstration sites for heavy tractors in Shandong Zibo. This year, companies in Shandong, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing have organized branches to visit customers and visited production bases to allow customers to witness the strength of CNHTC and natural gas products.

China's commercial vehicles are in a period of rapid development. Continuous improvement and breakthroughs in technology have made natural gas, a clean energy, more and more widely used in transportation in the world. The continuous maturity of the heavy-duty truck market environment and economic benefits, as well as the low-temperature fuel supply system technologies such as refueling equipment, have also made natural gas heavy-duty trucks an extremely long-distance driving trend. The increasingly severe energy problems and environmental issues have made the new energy vehicles represented by natural gas vehicles attract more attention. The rapid development of the natural gas industry and related supporting facilities has also brought a historic opportunity for natural gas commercial vehicles.
