The “Decision on Accelerating the Cultivation and Development of Strategic Emerging Industries” recently issued by the General Office of the State Council also pointed out that after five years, the added value of strategic emerging industries with intensive knowledge and technology and low consumption of material resources will account for 8% of GDP.
